Baby Belvin on the Way!

What a privilege to take pictures of such a sweet family that is expecting the birth of their first little one! Dee and Brian met me at the NCSU Arboretum, so we could take some family pictures before the little one came! I must say that Dee was unbelievable (especially being only two weeks away from her due date)...she was ready to go with the pictures and up for anything we thought of along the way. I cannot wait to meet Baby Belvin!

Introducing Mr. and Mrs. McKechnie

This story is too incredible to not share! Keith and Debbie were both fortunate enough to have wonderful marriages that truly meant so much to them in all areas of life. Life took both of them for a turn that neither one would have expected--Keith and Debbie's first spouses both passed away due to different circumstances. Through this experience, Keith and Debbie continued on strong for their children--Keith has a daughter and a son, and Debbie has two sons. Life brought their paths to cross and their wedding day marked the happy beginning to another chapter in life for Keith, Debbie and their families. Their ceremony was so touching as they were able to honor their spouses that passed away by sharing how much light they had brought to each of their lives. Keith and Debbie, I know that you both cherish your family memories more than anything, and I know that you will always be able to hold past memories dear to your hearts as you create even more memories together as you have now joined together in marriage. Your story is so touching and such an inspiration to all of us...thank you for sharing your day!

It's been a while...too long!

I have been away from my blog for over a month...ugh! I am back now and lots to post soon!

Ali's a SENIOR!!

As a college student, I was blessed to have an awesome college group led by a fabulous college pastor, Ka'thy. Recently, I had the privilege of photographing her beautiful (on the inside AND out) daughter, Ali. Ali is just a joy to be around---her smile is contagious, and it was so fun to run around Maymont as we took her Senior Portraits!

The Norton Family

Recently, I spent a few hours with the Norton family capturing mom (Elizabeth), dad (Clark) and little one (K). K is at a fun and active age, so we were chasing her around to catch her precious moments. I must say that rocks were extremely fun to play with---they were everywhere!! Thanks for having me photograph your cute family!

The big day...Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Sanchagrin!

On August 8th, a dear friend of mine, Mary, and I traveled to Asheville, NC to photograph the beautiful wedding of Stephen and Jennifer! It was a sunny day and pretty toasty day...needless to say, the day was a fabulous celebration for the beginning of a wonderful marriage...congrats to Jennifer and Stephen!

Wedding Bells are Ringing...Jennifer + Stephen

I have wanted to share these bridal portraits for about two months, but we had to keep Jennifer's dress a secret :) She and Stephen were married on August 8th in Asheville, NC. We took her bridal portraits at the N.C. State Arboretum, and it was beautiful! Enjoy!
